Gunners seal Ponferradina partnership

According to AS our young Brazilian attacker Wellington Silva has sealed a deal to go on loan to Spanish Segunda Division side Ponferradina for the upcoming season. Silva has already been on Loan to Levante and Alcoyano in previous seasons.

AS are also reporting that the two clubs have formed an agreement to establish an official partnership, allowing Arsenal to send players on loan to Ponferradina, with no obligation for them to play, and also allows Arsenal 'first dibs' on any upcoming youth prospects that may filter through to the Ponferradina squad.

Hopefully the next Cesc Fabregas will walk through the doors of the Ponferradina youth campus, but i highly doubt that!
